“ Stopped by this place after a day of exploring Los Gatos and it might be one of my favorite pasta restaurants now! Gnocchi: 5/5 The pillowy and bouncy gnocchi paired with the red sauce and Italian sausage was a dream! No notes, highly recommend! Walnut Pasta Linguine: 4/5 While the pasta and sauce were delicious, we opted to add a protein to our dish (chicken) and it was quite dry. I'd get the pasta again but will not add chicken to it for $7. The pesto sauce was creamy and flavorful and the walnuts added a really nice crunch! Service was great! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The inside is beautifully decorated with lovely photos in the hallway leading to the restroom. I will definitely be stopping by again for more pasta and will also try the other dishes here! ”

“ I was meeting a friend for lunch, and this spot was a great middle ground between San Jose and Santa Cruz. I loved the cozy, intimate feel of the space. It fits right in with the Los Gatos vibe. What we ordered: Melted Brie & Roasted Garlic - warm and gooey cheese with bread, what's not to like? Gnocchi Sardi - this was pescatarian-friendly and delicious Tagliatelle & Truffle Cream Sauce - I was told this was their signature dish, so I had to order it. It did not disappoint with a rich, creamy, and mushroom-heavy sauce. We finished with a delicious dessert of bread pudding and ice cream. Our server was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, which was great for us as we were catching up with each other. Overall, a great experience! This would be a great place for a date night or lunch. I'll be back! ”

“ I was craving pasta and checked out this little gem in downtown Los Gatos. As soon as I walked in, I was captivated by the lovely interior decorations: vintage-style mirrors, chandeliers, unique tables, and huge flower artwork... It made me feel as if I were in Italy. They have Wine Wednesday, which means half-price on all wine bottles. What a great deal! We didn't feel like a whole bottle of wine that day, but we ended up getting their frozen espresso martini and signature house-made frozen rosé. So refreshing and tasty! Speaking of food, I highly recommend trying their pasta dishes! You can also purchase their pasta separately to-go. We ordered two different kinds of pasta dishes: tagliatelle with truffle cream sauce, and walnut pesto with sausage. Both were delicious. The pasta texture was perfect, the sauces were fragrant and creamy, and the walnuts added a delightful crunch to the dish. The portions were generous too; we were very full after the pasta. But we couldn't say no to the tiramisu dessert. It's a must-order for us whenever we see it on the menu, and it definitely did not disappoint. It had distinct layers and balanced the richness of mascarpone cheese with the bitterness of coffee and cocoa powder, along with the slight sweetness of the ladyfingers. ”

“ I highly recommend Pastaria & Market, located in the former Los Gatos space of the popular OPA restaurant chain, next to the Apple Store. While much of the space still resembles the former, the owners have infused it with their warm charm and inviting ambiance, giving it a distinct and cozy feel. The food is exceptional, with dishes that consistently impress. It's hard to find something on the menu that doesn't deliver on flavor and quality. However, the prices can lean toward the higher side, especially if you add a protein. If you've never tried frozen champagne, their frosé is a refreshing and unique treat that's worth ordering. The owners are a wonderful couple, and it's inspiring to see this family-owned restaurant flourish, even through the challenges of the past few years I highly attribute their success to how they service their patrons and community alike. If you're in Los Gatos, Pastaria & Market is a fantastic spot to enjoy a memorable meal. ”

“ Really liked this spot. Friendly and attentive service. Ski lodge vibe (near front of house anyway). Surprisingly large portions of pasta, cooked al dente and well-seasoned. I was set on the truffle tagliatelle, but had the pesto instead, which I don't usually order but the picture on Yelp and staff rec convinced me. The bolognese was also very good. Will definitely be back. ”

“ Cute place in Downtown Los Gatos, my girlfriend and I love coming here for a little date night. There is a larger dining room in the front of the restaurant which is narrow but holds a good amount of people. In the back however there is a quieter area that can be asked for when making reservations which great for a more intimate setting. All the pasta and bread is handmade and you can tell, the quality of the food is excellent. We are really big fans of the Tagliatelle & Truffle Cream Sauce and the Caesar Salad. The drink selection is a little lacking, but the food is amazing and always has us coming back. ”

“ We had reservations, but when we arrived the previous party had not cleared. The hostess informed us of the delay and seem to be trying to vacate the table or find another one. Unfortunately the waiter was the cause of the delay I'm not processing the payment. When this kid came apparent, the hostess seamlessly found us another table and they rather small restaurant. I was grateful as the waitress we got was much, much better. Once we were seated, it was a positive experience was good service and good food. ”

“ Not usually a fan of pesto but this was my favorite pasta The tagliatelle porcini was good too but too creamy for me The pizza was amazing but I'd prefer a different flavor next time. Needed more sausage The truffle fries were extra crunchy and crispy but lacked truffle flavor. Burrata appetizer was good but exactly what you'd expect Skip the pumpkin mousse. It was sour and looked like egg salad. ”
